The Eco-Justice Center was founded in 2004 as a ministry of the Racine Dominicans. The mission of the organization is environmental education and care of Earth in the context of community, contemplation, creativity and cultivation. Our center sits on 15 acres of land that consists of pasture, gardens, woods, stream, pond, and a treehouse. Renewable energy sources in the form of solar panels, a wind turbine, and geothermal heating/cooling help power the center. Animals include alpacas, goats, chickens, guinea hens, geese, ducks, and cats. All features of the center provide educational opportunities for our great community.
